Partial Resurfacing DRUJ Implant
The Partial Resurfacing Implant is a conservative approach for primary DRUJ indications. The Partial Resurfacing Implant removes only the articular surface of the ulna, leaving the ulnar styloid in tact, maintaining anatomy and the attachment
of the TFCC to the ulna to promote stability.
Modular Ulnar Head
For revision procedures where the styloid and TFCC are no longer in tact, the Modular Ulna Head implant restores pain free articulation of the distal radioulnar joint.
The Modular Ulnar Head offers stems with
3 collar height options, standard, medium and long. The medium and long collars
help compensate for loss of bone due to previous resections of the distal ulna such as Bowers, Darrach or Suave Kapandji procedures. The suture holes on the head of the implant allow soft tissue reattachment for greater stability.
Both First Choice DRUJ implants utilize the same instrumentation for reproducibility, ease of use, and the greatest flexibility.
This system offers the complete solution to DRUJ disorders, making it your First Choice in the O.R.
